HONG KONG, Jan 31 (Reuters) - Beijing Capital International Airport Co Ltd (0694.HK) will announce the acquisition of an airport terminal from its state-owned parent, a company source said on Thursday.

Trading in shares of the company was suspended earlier in the day because the company would release a statement relating to the acquisition, the source close to the deal told Reuters.

The firm would acquire Beijing Airport's Terminal 3, which is due to begin operation in March, from its parent, Capital Airports Holding Co, he added.

Shares of Beijing Airport ended at HK$9.98 on Wednesday.
