ING taps Temasek exec as Asia financials head

HONG KONG, Dec 1 (Reuters) - Dutch financial services firm ING (ING.AS) said on Monday that it hired Mathew Welch from Singapore state investment agency Temasek Holdings [TEM.UL] as managing director and head of financial institutions for Asia in its wholesale banking group.

Welch, who will be based in Singapore, was managing director in the investment group at Temasek, focusing on financial institutions.
