Yunnan to buy tin ores, metal,semi-finished products

HONG KONG, Dec 1 (Reuters) - China Yunnan province's plan to buy tin reserves include ores, metal and semi-finished tin products, an official at the Economic Commission in the province said on Monday.

Yunnan, the top tin producer in China which is the world's biggest tin metal producer, also plans to buy other base metals to help producers that are struggling with weak domestic demand and low prices. (Reporting by Polly Yam; Editing by Ben Tan)
