HONG KONG, Sept 26 (Reuters) - Taiwanese solar manufacturer Gintech Solar (3514.TW) has begun marketing its planned issue of global depository receipts worth $160-170 million, sources familiar with the situation said on Friday.

"There's no pricing yet, so that's the rough guidance," one source said. Two sources said the GDR will be listed in Luxembourg.

"The roadshow was launched on Sept 17," another said.

The second source said the timing of the actual listing was uncertain because of the volatility in global equity markets.

ABN AMRO and UBS are joint bookrunners, the sources said.
