Wing Lung, China Merchants shares up on deal

HONG KONG, June 3 (Reuters) - Shares of Wing Lung Bank 0096.HK rose 4.2 percent on Tuesday after China Merchants Bank (3968.HK), the country's sixth-largest bank, agreed to buy control of the Hong Kong lender in a $4.66 billion deal.

China

Shares of China Merchants Bank were up 2 percent.
