HONG KONG, May 12 (Reuters) - Indonesian state power firm Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) will meet global debt investors starting this week, two sources familiar with the plan said on Tuesday.

PLN, long rumoured to be eyeing a global debt deal, has hired Barclays Capital and UBS (UBSN.VX) to arrange the meetings, which have been dubbed a "global investor update", the two sources said.

Both declined to be identified because they are not authorised to talk to the media about the meetings.

One of the sources said the meeting would be a "non-deal roadshow," meaning a bond deal may not necessarily come at the conclusion of the meetings.

PLN will meet with investors in Singapore and Hong Kong on Thursday and in London on Friday. The meetings will continue next week, with meetings in Boston and New York on Monday, New York again on Tuesday, and the west coast of the United States on Wednesday, the sources said.
