Granite Constr acquires Pacific Northwest-Based Construction materials and Asphalt Paving Company

Co announced the signing of a definitive agreement to acquire certain assets of The Superior Group of Companies, a Pacific Northwest-based construction materials producer and asphalt paving co for an estimated purchase price at closing of between $56.8 mln and $59.8 mln in cash. The acquisition is the latest step in the Co's geographic expansion strategy. The Co anticipates that the transaction will close within the next thirty days.
