Northwest Airlines: Mesaba Airlines flew 72.2 mln available seat miles in May

Mesaba Airlines, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Northwest Airlines Corporation (NWA), today reported capacity and traffic for May. Mesaba Airlines flew 72.2 mln available seat miles (ASMs) in May, which was down 58.6% YoY. Mesaba carried 207,525 passengers in the month, which was down 45.8% YoY generating 45.9 mln rev passenger miles (RPMs). Passenger load factor, representing capacity filled, decreased 9.4 points YoY to 63.6%.
