JAKARTA, Oct 17 (Reuters) - Indonesia awarded exploration rights on oil and gas blocks to firms including Chevron Indonesia, a unit of U.S. oil major Chevron (CVX.N), and Conoco Philips (COP.N), a senior energy ministry official said on Friday. (Reporting by Muklis Ali; Editing by Kim Coghill)
