- DUTA PERTIWI PLANS TO BORROW $80-$100 MLN

Indonesian chemical company PT Duta Pertiwi Nusantara Tbk (DPNS.JK) said it plans to borrow $80-100 million from foreign banks to finance its expansion in the coal sector, and has appointed Merrill Lynch MER.N to handle the deal.

- COAL BED METHANE INVESTORS TO GET MORE CERTAINTY

Indonesia's energy ministry plans to sign a revision to a ministerial decree on coal bed methane mining, allowing new investors to bid for mining rights, which are currently exclusive only to contract land owners, a director at the ministry said.
