President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono's administration will issue a new package of economic measures later in May to help speed up private investment and spur economic growth ahead of a general election next year.

- TIMAH ALLOCATES 4 TRLN RPH FOR ACQUISITION PLAN

Indonesian tin miner, PT Timah Tbk (TINS.JK), said it has allocated 4 trillion rupiah ($433.1 million) to acquire tin mines in Myanmar and Vietnam to boost its output this year.
