The Indonesian government's plan to privatise state-owned steel-maker PT Krakatau Steel continues to stir debate in parliament with some parliamentarians opposing the plan.

- RIO TINTO SUES CENTRAL SULAWESI REGENCY OVER MINING RIGHTS

Coal miner Rio Tinto (RIO.AX)(RIO.L) on Friday filed a suit against the regional government of Morowali in Central Sulawesi after they granted mining rights to local firms in an area Rio Tinto said is still the subject of ongoing negotiations between the mining giant and the central government.

Bank of China has provided loan for the construction of a power plant in Indramayu, West Java, with a total value of $592.2 million.
