Indonesia's Indofood plans 1 trln rph bond issue

JAKARTA, May 1 (Reuters) - PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk, the world's largest instant noodle maker, plans to raise 1 trillion rupiah ($94.4 million) with the sale of five-year bonds in June, the firm said on Friday.

Proceeds will be used to refinance maturing debt and for working capital, it said in a prospectus published in Bisnis Indonesia newspaper.

PT DBS Vickers Securities Indonesia, PT Danareksa Sekuritas, PT ING Securities Indonesia, PT Kim Eng Securities, and PT OSK Nusadana Securities Indonesia have been appointed underwriters.

Indofood, which has a stock market value of $1.04 billion, is controlled by Indonesia's Salim family through Hong Kong-listed First Pacific Ltd (0142.HK).

It previously reported a 70 percent plunge in first-quarter net profit to 110.44 billion rupiah. ($1 = 10,590 rupiah) (Reporting by Tyagita Silka; Editing by Sara Webb)
