Trading in Indonesia's Indosat halted after Qatar deal

JAKARTA, June 9 (Reuters) - Trading in the country's second largest mobile phone operator, PT Indosat Tbk (ISAT.JK), was suspended on Monday after Qatar Telecom QTEL.QA increased its stake in the firm to 40.8 percent.

The Indonesia Stock Exchange said the bourse will ask for more clarifications on the transaction before lifting the trading halt. (Reporting by Harry Suhartono, editing by Sugita Katyal)
