Indonesia Bakrie & Bros plans 4.26 trln rph conv. bond

JAKARTA, Jan 14 (Reuters) - Indonesian diversified group Bakrie & Brothers (BNBR.JK) said on Wednesday it plans to issue a 4.26 trillion rupiah ($385 million) convertible bond by May.

The company, which has interests in plantations, telecoms, energy and property, said the proceeds from the bond would be used to buy back group shares from private equity firm Northstar Pacific. ($1=11,075 Rupiah) (Reporting by Harry Suhartono, editing by Sara Webb)
