Handball-Spanish men seal spot in Beijing Olympics

PARIS, June 1 (Reuters) - Spain secured a place in the Beijing Olympics handball competition with a 29-28 victory over Tunisia in a qualification tournament on Saturday.

Russia

Spain, the 2005 world champions, joined France, who beat them 28-24 on Saturday.

Croatia also qualified after winning a qualification tournament in Zadar. They will be joined either by Russia or Japan.

Two places are up for grab in a tournament in Poland. The hosts, Sweden and Iceland are the teams in contention. (Reporting by Clement Guillou, editing by Justin Palmer)
