Mercedes-Benz car sales in US drop 3 percent in Dec

FRANKFURT (Reuters) - Daimler AG's (DAIGn.DE) premium Mercedes-Benz Cars division said on Thursday it sold 3 percent fewer cars in the United States in December than a year ago.

Stocks

The company sold 27,301 vehicles last month, compared with 28,115 cars in the same month a year earlier, it said.

Total car sales in 2007 still increased 2.2 percent to 253,433 units, it said.
