Davydenko beats Tipsarevic to reach semi-finals in Miami

MIAMI (Reuters) - World number four Nikolay Davydenko reached the Sony Ericsson semi-finals with an emphatic 6-2 6-1 victory over Serbia's Janko Tipsarevic on Thursday.

The Russian will play the winner of the later quarter-final between world number one Roger Federer and world number six Andy Roddick. He stands 0-11 with Federer and 0-5 with Roddick.

"I lost to him already 11 times," Davydenko said of his dismal record against Federer. "You know, it doesn't matter if I lose more times, 12 times."
