Zimbabwe war veterans threaten farm occupations

HARARE, April 5 (Reuters) - Zimbabwean liberation war veterans have vowed to occupy all white-owned farms in Masvingo Province amid reports that white farmers were returning to land seized by the government, state radio said on Saturday.

"Masvingo War Veterans Liberation Association Chairman Isiah Muzenda says their association has resolved to occupy all white-owned farms in the province in reaction to reports of white commercial farmers who are trickling back to re-occupy the land," it said.
