Dollar extends losses vs yen

NEW YORK (Reuters) - The dollar extended losses versus the Japanese yen on Thursday and traded below 113 yen for the first time in 14 months.

Hot Stocks

The yen surged across the board as U.S. stocks tumbled and investors fled to the safety of U.S. Treasuries.

The dollar slid more than 3 percent against the yen and traded as lower 112.22, its lowest since June 2006.
