Polish PM says sees chance of shield deal with U.S.
WARSAW (Reuters) - Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said his country could reach agreement with the United States within two weeks on a missile defense shield but indicated he would not compromise on tough conditions he has set for a deal.
"The hard negotiating position presented by my government has a chance of succeeding... We are ready for final conclusions in two weeks but the Polish point of view has to be respected," Tusk told reporters. (Reporting by Patryk Wasilewski, writing by Gareth Jones)
