Turkish PM says genocide motion would hurt ties

ISTANBUL (Reuters) - Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan said on Wednesday approval by Congress of a resolution calling the 1915 mass killings of Armenians genocide would harm Turkey's relations with the United States.

"The United States' relationship with one of its most important partners in the region would be weakened," Erdogan said in a televised interview.
