STOCKHOLM, Oct 10 (Reuters) - Telecom equipment maker Ericsson (ERICb.ST) said on Wednesday its Redback subsidiary had won an order from Neuf Cegetel NEUF.PA to build a fiber-to-home network for home and business services.

"Under the new deal, Redback and Ericsson will deploy and maintain Redback SmartEdge 1200 multi-service edge routers to aggregate optical access nodes into a high speed, 10 Gbps metro Ethernet network," the companies said in a statement.

Ericsson, the world's biggest mobile network maker, said Redback manages more than 54 percent of all broadband subscribers in France.
