Russia's Gazprom sees higher gas prices - CEO

LEIPZIG, Germany, June 11 (Reuters) - Russia's Gazprom (GAZP.MM), the supplier of a quarter of Europe's natural gas, expects gas prices to keep rising, Chief Executive Alexei Miller said on Wednesday.

"The tendency for a rising gas price is set to hold on," he told reporters at an event to mark the 35th anniversary of Russian gas deliveries to Germany.

Miller had told reporters in France on Tuesday that he expects the price of crude oil to almost double to $250 per barrel, taking gas prices with it.
