EDP Renewables buys wind power operator in Brazil

LISBON, June 12 (Reuters) - EDP Renewables (EDPR.LS) has bought a wind power operator in Brazil, which has potential installed capacity of 84 mega watts, the company said on Thursday.

EDP Renewables said the CENEAEEL wind power operator has wind projects and farms valued at an enterprise value of 51 million reais (20 million euros).

The purchase adds to EDP Renewables' other wind farm projects in Brazil, which total 216 MW of potential installed capacity. (Reporting by Axel Bugge; Editing by Louise Ireland)
