Goldman not in talks to buy Julius Baer: sources

LONDON/ZURICH (Reuters) - Investment bank Goldman Sachs (GS.N) is not in talks to buy Swiss wealth manager Julius Baer (BAER.VX), sources familiar with the matter said on Tuesday, in response to market talk of a Goldman Sachs bid.

Deals

Goldman Sachs and Julius Baer declined to comment.

Shares in Julius Baer rose earlier on Tuesday on rumors the New York-based bank could bid for the Swiss financial services company.
