STOCKHOLM, June 13 (Reuters) - TeliaSonera is holding out for France Telecom (FTE.PA) to sweeten its indicative $41 billion bid for the firm to 60 Swedish crowns per share, the Financial Times wrote on Friday, citing one unidentified source.

The indicative offer was worth 56.22 crowns based on France Telecom's closing share price on June 4. In public, France Telecom has repeatedly said it would not improve its offer.

The newspaper cited one unnamed source saying France Telecom was prepared to improve the cash element of its offer, made on June 5, if TeliaSonera was willing to talk.

But it cited two others close to the matter saying France Telecom wanted talks before considering any changes to its bid.

It cited unnamed sources as saying TeliaSonera would not agree to talk to France Telecom before a sweetened offer.

TeliaSonera's board and the Swedish government, which owns more than 37 percent of the company, have rejected France Telecom's cash and share offer, saying it was too low.

In a newspaper interview on June 7, France Telecom Chief Financial Officer Gervais Pellissier said the French firm could drop its offer either if its own share price continued to fall or if the bid was not accepted as friendly. (Editing by Will Waterman, editing by Will Waterman)
