MADRID, July 1 (Reuters) - Telecinco (TL5.MC) was the most watched TV channel in Spain in June with a 15.9 percent audience share, knocking state TV's La Primera off the top spot for the first time in six months thanks to soccer broadcasts, data showed on Wednesday.

Pollsters Barlovento said La Primera took a 15.7 percent share, slipping 0.9 percentage points versus May, with Antena 3 (A3TV.MC) getting 15 percent, a fall of 0.2 percentage points and a 12-month low.

Prisa's (PRS.MC) Cuatro took an 8.9 percent share, up 0.3 percentage points from May, while La Sexta accounted for 6.7 percent, down 0.6 percentage points.

Audience share is the main draw for advertisers and allows TV channels to establish ad pricing. (Reporting by Elisabeth O'Leary; Editing by Hans Peters)
