Ukrproduct says results to beat management expectations

LONDON, Dec 14 (Reuters) - Ukraine food producer Ukrproduct Group (UKR.L) said on Friday its second-half performance had been ahead of management expectations with profit after tax for the year likely to reach 3 million pounds ($6.13 million).

The company, which sells cheeses, butter and milk powders, said in a statement the macroeconomic environment in which the group operates remains conducive to the group's business.

The shares were up 2.25 percent at 91 pence by 1055 GMT, valuing the business at 37.9 million pounds ($77.43 million). (Reporting by John Bowker; Editing by Paul Bolding)
