Banques Populaires plans euro covered bond -lead

LONDON, April 18 (Reuters) - Banques Populaires Covered Bond plans to sell a benchmark-sized euro covered bond, an official at one of the banks managing the sale said on Friday.

No further details were available. The official said updates would be released in the coming weeks.

HSBC, Natixis and UniCredit (HVB) are managing the sale.

Banques Populaires Covered Bond is rated triple-A by Moody's Investors Service and Standard & Poor's, the official said. (Reporting by Maya Thatcher)
