ATHENS, March 21 (Reuters) - Greece's parliament approved the conservative government's pension reform bill early on Friday after weeks of strikes and protests by labour unions.

The bill, which overhauls a pension system experts say will collapse in 15 years if not changed, was passed with 151 votes by all conservative lawmakers -- expect one who did not vote due to illness -- and one independent deputy, while 13 MPs from the Leftist Coalition voted against it. All other parties including the main opposition socialists, abstained.

"164 deputies voted. Yes 151, no 13. The bill has been accepted. The session is completed," house speaker Dimitris Sioufas said. (Reporting by Karolos Grohmann; Editing by Alison Williams)
