HELSINKI, Feb 21 (Reuters) - More than 1,000 staff at Finnish steel maker Rautaruukki's (RTRKS.HE) Raahe mill in northern Finland walked out on Thursday to protest against a local wage deal, a union representative told Reuters.

The staff will return to work on Saturday, Mika Vuoti said.

Raahe plant produces about 7,000 tonnes of hot-rolled steel a day, Rautaruukki production manager Sakari Kallo said, but would not estimate the financial impact. (Reporting by Sakari Suoninen; Editing by Quentin Bryar)
