LONDON, March 22 (Reuters) - Private equity firm 3i Group (III.L) is set to announce as early as Thursday an agreed deal to acquire British maintenance and support firm Enterprise Plc ETR.L in a management buyout worth 486 million pounds ($951.2 million), the Times reported on Thursday.

The newspaper quoted unnamed sources as saying 3i was putting the final touches to the deal.

A comment was not immediately available from 3i or Enterprise.

Enterprise said last month it was in talks with 3i over a potential 486-million-pound offer for the firm.
