An IMF mission is in Bucharest to review Romania's progress in meeting conditions of a 20 billion euros aid package.

President Traian Basescu will meet the IMF mission representatives at 0800 GMT.

Romanian central bank Governor Mugur Isarescu holds news conference to present the quarterly inflation report at 0900 GMT.

Romania's finance ministry plans to sell 400 million euros in 3-year treasury bonds at uniform price.

IMF FLEXIBLE ON HOW ROMANIA DRAWS UP BUDGET-PAPER

The International Monetary Fund will show flexibility on how Romania draws up its 2010 budget but will stick to a demand for a 5.9 percent of GDP fiscal gap, mission chief Jeffrey Franks was quoted as saying on Thursday.
