Many casualties from car bomb in west Iraq-police

FALLUJA, Iraq, Oct 6 (Reuters) - A car bomb exploded at a market near Iraq's western city of Falluja on Tuesday, causing many casualties, police said.

Police did not yet have an exact toll from the blast in the town of Amiriya but estimated roughly 20 casualties, including dead and wounded. A number of cars were set ablaze, they said. (Reporting by Fadhel al-Badrani; Writing by Tim Cocks)
