PARIS, Nov 6 (Reuters) - Lafarge SA (LAFP.PA) says in its third quarter earnings release:

* Q3 revenue down 20 percent to 4.252 billion euros * Q3 current operating profit down 28 percent to 852 million euros

* Q3 net profit down 38 percent to 404 million euros

* Reuters poll average for Lafarge Q3 sales 4.623 billion euros, for Q3 current operating income 856.17 mln euros

* 2009 cement volumes to be down 6-8 percent, change from prior outlook of 4-8 percent

* Cement volumes to improve in developed markets in second half of 2010
