Spain's BBVA raises treasury stock stake to 3.41%

MADRID, Oct 7 (Reuters) - Spain's second largest bank BBVA (BBVA.MC) has raised the number of shares it holds as treasury stock to 3.41 percent of its shares from 1.325 percent, the stock market regulator CNMV said on Tuesday.

BBVA now holds 127.8 million shares as treasury stock compared with 49.7 million in September. (Reporting by Robert Hertz; Writing by Paul Day; Editing by Greg Mahlich)
