Italy's SRG confirms 2008 div of 0.23 euro/shr

MILAN, July 29 (Reuters) - Italian gas network operator Snam Rete Gas SpA (SRG.MI) will pay a 2008 dividend of 0.23 euro a share, Chief Financial Officer Antonio Paccioretti said on Tuesday.

"It's important to confirm our 2008 dividend of 23 cents a share," he told a conference call. The 2007 dividend was 0.21 euro a share. (Reporting by Giancarlo Navach)
