LONDON, Oct 10 (Reuters) - The following corporate finance-related stories involving U.S. and European companies were reported by media:
** Deutsche Bank (DBKGn.DE) may buy Fortis Bank Nederland to replace a deal to buy ABN AMRO's Dutch operations, which was put on hold by the nationalisation of Fortis's Dutch holdings, Dutch newspaper Telgraaf reported, without naming sources. [nLA596508]
** Austrian developer Immofinanz (IMFI.VI) and its emerging European arm Immoeast (IMEA.VI) are preparing a merger and could take the first steps on Friday, Austrian daily Der Standard reported, quoting a supervisory board member. [nLA619266]
** Icelandic bank Kaupthing's KAUP.IC Danish corporate bank, FIH, will be sold before the end of the year for a price tag of about 7 billion crowns ($1.29 billion), its managing director, Lars Johansen, told Ritzau news agency. [nL9379789]
