UPDATE 1-NORDIC STOCKS - Factors to watch on July 13

HELSINKI, July 13 (Reuters) - The following stocks may be affected by newspaper reports and other factors on Monday:
ERICSSON (ERICb.ST)
The Swedish telecom equipment maker Ericsson will invest in a new research and development centre in South Korea and increase its staff to about 1,000, the South Korean presidential office said at the weekend.
"According to the plan, Ericsson is expected to invest approximately $1.5 billion in South Korea in the next five years," the presidential Blue House said in a statement.

NORSKE SKOG (NSG.OL)
The Norwegian company said it was selling its 56 percent stake in newsprint mill in Shanghai, booking a 255 million Norwegian crown ($38.95 million) loss, as its restructured its operations in China.

SWEDBANK (SWEDa.ST)
The Swedish savings bank foundations, Sparbanksstiftelserna, are demanding compensation from Folksam, Erste Bank (ERST.VI) and the Swedish Export Credit Corporation (SEK) related to the transfer of Swedbank shares earlier this year, Swedish business daily Dagens Industri reported at the weekend.
Folksam, Erste Bank and SEK took over Swedbank shares put up as collateral for a loan from the foundations in early March.
In the days following the announcement, but before shares were transferred, the Swedbank stock rose roughly 35 percent. The rise in the stock had not been reflected in the transfer of the shares, the foundations said.
"We have issued a demand to our lenders," Lorentz Andersson, chairman of the foundations management firm, was quoted as saying. "This concerns several hundred million crowns."

GETINGE (GETIb.ST)
The medical technology firm posted a bigger-than-expected rise in second-quarter pretax earnings to 463 million Swedish crowns ($58.1 million) while order bookings also grew more than forecast. Analysts in a Reuters poll had seen pretax earnings rising to 440 million crowns from a year-ago 380 million.

NOVO NORDISK (NOVOb.CO)
Swedish officials are investigating whether Danish pharmaceuticals group Novo Nordisk broke rules by hosting nearly 200 Swedish doctors and nurses on a trip to South Africa in 2006, daily Berlingske Tidende said. "As a patient, you should be able to trust that your doctor is objective and not influenced by some drug company," Swedish state prosecutor Nils-Erik Schultz said, according to the newspaper. The company told a Swedish daily it was cooperating 100 percent with the investigation, Berlingske Tidende said.
