Dubai's Abraaj Capital buys into Karachi Electric
DUBAI, Oct 15 (Reuters) - Dubai-based private equity firm Abraaj Capital said on Wednesday it had bought a stake in Karachi Electric Supply Co (KESC.KA), but did not give a value for the deal.
Abraaj, which manages about $5 billion of funds, was buying "new shares in KES Power Ltd, giving Abraaj a 50 percent stake and management control of the firm", it said in a statement. (Reporting by John Irish; editing by Inal Ersan)
