AIRSHOW-Indonesia's Wings Air buys 15 ATR aircraft

DUBAI, Nov 16 (Reuters) - Wings Air, a subsidiary of private Indonesian carrier Lion Air, has signed a $600 million contract with turbo-prop planemaker ATR to buy 15 ATR 72-500 planes, with options for 15 ATR 72-600s, ATR said in a statement on Monday.

The aircraft are to be delivered between 2009 and 2011, the statement said.

ATR is a joint venture between EADS (EAD.PA) and Finmeccanica (SIFI.MI).
