DUBAI, Nov 16 (Reuters) - State-owned Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE) has ordered $270 million worth of engines from CFM International to power 20 A320 Airbus planes, DAE said in a statement on Monday.

The aircraft are part of a 70-plane order the Dubai-based leasing company announced in July 2008. The engine order is scheduled to be delivered in early 2011, DAE said.
State-owned Dubai Aerospace Enterprise said on Sunday it agreed to buy $340 million worth of engines from International Aero Engines, a consortium led by Rolls-Royce (RR.L) and Pratt & Whitney (UTX.N), to power 20 A320 Airbus planes. (Reporting by Nicolas Parasie; Editing by Dan Lalor)
