ATHENS, Nov 17 (Reuters) - Here are news stories, press reports and events which may affect Greek financial markets on Monday:

ALPHA BANK CHIEF SAYS TO JOIN RESCUE PLAN-PAPER

Greece's Alpha Bank (ACBr.AT) will participate in a government 28 billion euro ($35.52 billion) support plan to ensure funding for the slowing economy, its chief executive said in a newspaper interview published on Sunday.

"Alpha Bank will participate in the plan, and will utilise all measures provided by the Greek state, we believe this is a good plan, its good for the economy and for banks," CEO Yannis Costopoulos said in an interview with Kathimerini newspaper. [ID:nLG288875]

ING REVISES RATINGS, TARGETS ON GREEK BANKS

*ING said Greek banks are well capitalized but rising standards in terms of capital requirements and exposure to South Eastern Europe are likely to lead to higher capital ratios. [ID:NWNAB4173]

OPAP SEEN PAYING 2009 DIVIDEND OF ABOUT 2.0 EUROS

Greek betting monopoly OPAP (OPAr.AT) is expected to pay a total dividend of about 2.0 euros for 2009, daily financial Imerisia reported. Net profit is expected to rise 30-35 percent to about 530 million euros in the nine-month period, it said. www.imerisia.gr
