VIENNA, Aug 18 (Reuters) - Austrian biotech firm Intercell (ICEL.VI) reported second-quarter revenue that more than doubled to 9 million euros ($13 million), due to an increase in revenue from collaboration and licensing, it said on Monday. The net loss roughly halved to 4 million euros in the three months to June. The company reiterated it expected positive net income in the full year, despite its acquisition of U.S. biotech group Iomai IOMI.O.

The company, whose main product is a vaccine against Japanese encephalitis, expected to win market approval later this year, had no major product announcement in its statement.
