Hungary's Egis proposes 120 forint/share dividend

BUDAPEST, Dec 19 (Reuters) - Hungarian drug maker Egis EGIS.BU proposed a dividend of 120 forints ($0.649) per share on earnings in its 2007/2008 fiscal year, the company said in a filing with the Budapest Stock Exchange late on Thursday.

The dividend is unchanged from a year earlier.

At 1144 GMT, Egis stock traded 1.9 percent higher at 10,550 forints on the Budapest bourse, outperforming a gain of 0.6 percent in the wider market .BUX. ($1=184.86 Hungarian Forint) (Reporting by Gergely Szakacs; Editing by Mike Nesbit)
