 GERMANY- A new citizenship test which foreigners will have to
pass to get a German passport due to take effect. Applicants
will have to take an exam comprising 33 of 310 multiple choice
questions prepared by the Internal Ministry and get at least 17
right to pass.-

 FRANKFURT- ECB Executive Board member Gertrude Tumpel-Gugerell
to host a dinner (2100 GMT on 2nd Sept) at the 8th ECB Seminar

Europe for the first time in more than a decade. The tour will
begin with performance at the National Indoor Arena in

Paris, France on Sept. 28 with stops in Denmark, Sweden, Norway,
Germany, Netherlands and Italy on the way.-
