BRIEF-PGS wins $165 mln contract onshore Mexico

OSLO, Aug 19 (Reuters) - Norway's Petroleum Geo-Services (PGS) (PGS.OL) said:

Stocks

* Has been awarded a contract worth about $165 million by Mexico's Pemex [PEMX.UL] for an onshore seismic survey in the Veracruz and Puebla regions.

* The survey will be carried out from 2008 to 2012. The area to be surveyed is more than 2,000 square kilometers. (Reporting by Oslo newsroom)
