LONDON, Sept 21 (Reuters) - Kingfisher (KGF.L), the British-based retailer that owns the B&Q home improvement chain, is considering moving its tax domicile overseas, the Sunday Telegraph reported, citing unnamed sources.

The paper said Kingfisher had hired its auditors, PwC, to help with a review of its tax domicile in the light of proposed reforms to the way foreign earnings are taxed in the UK.

No one at Kingfisher could be reached for comment.

The Telegraph said the company was reluctant to move overseas, but was considering doing so because it had an obligation to shareholders to weigh up any measure that might boost its financial performance.

Several British companies have moved overseas for tax purposes this year, including asset manager Henderson HGI.L and serviced office provider Regus (RGU.L). (By Myles Neligan; Editing by David Cowell)
