Ukraine gas price to rise gradually-PM Tymoshenko
KIEV, Nov 21 (Reuters) - Ukraine will sign a deal on gas supplies with Russia within weeks and the price will rise gradually to market levels, Interfax news agency quoted Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko as saying on Friday.
Tymoshenko, speaking while on a visit to Sweden, said she believed the two sides would stick to a deal she clinched in talks last month with Russian Prime Minister Vladmimir Putin.
"We need to be patient and wait for the signing of an agremeent, where I believe the price will be that set down in the memorandum I signed with Vladimir Putin, where it is stressed that we will move gradually towards market prices," Interfax quoted her as saying. (Writing by Ron Popeski)
